Ok for anyone wondering what a SDE is like on the night of a wedding here's a good example. I cut this while the couple were eating and on this occasion it was played just before the first dance around 10pm.
Sometimes it's after the speeches but it can be quite crazy trying to get it all ready to go that soon but it has been done! Just!
For Lisa & Mark we sat the bridal party down and gathered their friend's around them and hit play! Here's the reaction!

It was my first time doing a wedding down in Co Clare and what an amazing high energy wedding. Brad & Maria were such a great couple to work with and the venue was amazing! Getting ready for a trip to London to train with two of the Best Wedding Cinematographers in the world, Joe Simon and Kevin Shahinian from the US.

I am missing a Wedding Fair in Kilronan Castle that I do every year and I apologise to any couples that thought they might see me at it. This workshop might not happen again for a long time so I felt that the knowledge & skills that these guys could pass on would be invaluable for me to create a better end result for your wedding vids.

The craic started early during hair and make-up and continued throughout the day, which was really helpful in putting together the same day edit. Suzanne from Zanni Photography captured the photos and picked out some beautiful locations in Moynalty for the photo shoot. Charlotte and Anthony sat down for the meal as I got to work editing. Last Saturday i preformed my second same day edit for Vanessa & Adrian's wedding in the Landmark Hotel. A same day edit is a crazy day. I have to shoot the wedding, load the footage in during the day and when the couple sit down to eat i get stuck in to the edit. I usually have about an hour to cut the footage before the speeches start. When the speeches are finished the lights go off, the volume is turned up and the highlights are played on the hotel's projectors!

This was the wedding of friends Donnacha & Aoife who got married on the 1st of October and had their reception in Castle Leslie in County Monaghan. Donnacha surprised Aoife at the end by singing the first dance to her. It was a great wedding and a great venue!
